Riot Games have announced details of the celebrations for the upcoming 10 year anniversary of their enormously popular MOBA League of Legends.
League of Legends turns 10 years old on October 15, and Riot will be celebrating a decade of one of the most popular games in the world with a variety of content for fans.
After accidentally inviting everyone to an exclusive, expenses-paid party in London, Riot have now revealed what regular players will actually have to look forward to on the day.
The celebrations will kick off at 10 AM PDT, with Rioters around the world “celebrating with streamed activities and digital experiences.” Details of what these will involve exactly have yet to be revealed, although some fans may get to take the celebrations beyond the digital with in-person events and activities at several regional Riot offices.

In addition, there will be showmatches for both League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics taking place from 2:30 PM PDT, which will be streamed on both Twitch and YouTube.

Finally, the day will conclude with a live stream of the 10 Anniversary edition of Riot Pls, a vlog series in which the developers discuss what they’re working on and why. The video will include a look at this year’s preseason update for Summoner’s Rift, and the “set two” content coming to Teamfight Tactics.
