The Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Gizmos & Gadgets Championship has ended, with China dominating the competition. The crown remains in the region with a new champion, LiLuo. Here’s how it went down.
The TFT World Championship returned for Set 6 and Gizmos & Gadgets, and it was China all the way. After Korea and China dominated the first two renditions, the latter’s strength proved to be too much again for the rest of the world.
The TFT Gizmos & Gadgets Championship was a big hallmark event for the scene, with more players than ever before (32) being invited, and an expanded prize pool of $300,000 USD, making the win all the more sweeter for LiLuo.
Check out exactly how they did it below.

Oceania came out of the gates strong at the TFT Gizmos & Gadgets World Championship, with both representatives Knpngrz and TXE topping the charts after two games. However, the former faltered, missing the cut for Day 2 while TXE finished overall in second.
Three of the four NA representatives survived the Top 16 cut too, but the same could not be said for Japan’s two representatives who both bundled out. Set 5 champion Huanmie was also eliminated in 25th, and three of Korea’s top players were also sent home.

Day 2 was all China as LiLuo and LiuLi dominated for most of the six games, finishing in first and fourth respectively. OCE’s only remaining rep, TXE, kept the form up with a third place finish.
On the other end of the scale EMEA will miss the final day after all three players were knocked out. It’s a disappointing end for the region, which hasn’t seen much success since Double won the Galaxies Championship nearly two years ago.

While individual players put up a fight, the final day of the TFT Gizmos & Gadgets Championship was ultimately a battle between the two Chinese representatives LiLuo and LiuLi.
The duo traded first places across the day, both reaching match point as fast as possible. Then, just as quickly as the final day started it was over as LiLuo piloted an 8 Bodyguard comp in a heavy AD lobby to victory, with Korea’s ddudu unable to force a game five.
