Teamfight Tactic’s Scuttle Crab astounded viewers by beating an entire lobby and eliminating one player at the Set 10 Championship.
If there’s one portal that all Teamfight Tactics players love, it’s Crab Rave. The iconic portal replaces all PvE rounds with high loot Scuttle Crabs, allowing players to reap the rewards. That is until you hit Stage 5, where players encounter the final boss of all crabs, which can easily wipe out a player’s board.
This has happened plenty of times before, with streamers like k3soju and even lead designer Mortdog themself falling prey to the king of crabs. In fact, the portal has become so popular the devs have even teased a collaboration with the Crab Rave song, truly immortalizing it as one of the greats.
Now Crab Rave has made its mark on the Set 10 World Championship, causing an entire lobby to lose and eliminating one of them in the process.

Crab Rave beats entire lobby and eliminates a player at Set 10 championship
As showcased by TFT Clips, players in Game 11 of Day 2 fell victim to the monstrous Crab Rave. Players generally need a fair amount of healing and single target damage to take down the crab, as its ability slowly ramps up AOE damage over time, chipping away at your board’s health.
Unfortunately, it seems many players were running reroll boards which featured little to no healing, resulting in all of the players losing out. This was even worse for Elmumu, who ended up being eliminated from the match after their True Damage and K/DA board failed to take down the boss.
Elmumu ended up still being in the top 4 for the lobby, but ended up being eliminated by the very portal they had chosen at the start of the game, truly coming full circle.
