Popular streamer Tyler ‘Tyler1’ Steinkamp managed to take his TCS Grand Finals stream to a different level as he hilariously managed to get Barack Obama and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to appear ‘live’ on Twitch.
While the League of Legends competitive scene is on its off-season break as teams are assembled, head to boot camp, and try to plot their path to Worlds success – Tyler1 has carved out a spot for his ‘Tyler1 Championship Series’.
The TCS has been running since 2016 and allows some of the biggest League streamers and rising players to do battle with a select few professionals that decide to throw their hat into the ring. The 2019 installment had been no different and with Team E Turner taking on Fragas’s Baby Yodas in the grand finals, Tyler1 kicked his production up and onto a completely different level altogether.
With the two teams set to do battle on Summoner’s Rift, Steinkamp decided to introduce his stream to his fellow analysts for the broadcast. Yet, anyone expecting LCS personalities like David ‘phreak’ Turley or Clayton ‘CaptainFlowers’ Raines, was in for a shock.
Instead, the streamer had managed to pull off a huge coup and secured the services of former President Barack Obama and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. With this being the TCS, though, Tyler took the chance to get one over on his ‘co-hosts’.
“Dwayne, yo real talk though real quick bud, I went and I [saw] Jumanji 2, that sh*t – I like you, you’re a bit smaller than me, not as popular – but that sh*t was high key trash, Dwayne, it was garbage,” he said.

However, it wasn’t all about Tyler taking the spotlight, though, as he did allow his special ‘guests’ to make their feelings known about the upcoming finals match-up.
“If my calculations are correct, I think Fragas’s Baby Yodas will get the W,” Obama said, thanks to a terrible impression from Tyler1. “Thank you guys for your professional opinion,” T1 added, before setting things up for the grand final.
In the end, it was the former President of the United States who got ‘his’ prediction right, with Fragas’s Baby Yodas taking home TCS success following a 3-1 victory in the best-of-five final.
While he may have set the bar high with his year’s installment, the streamer has already promised to take the TCS to new heights when it next rolls around – so maybe he could actually get the real Obama on-stream and not just a green screen cut-out.
