Popular Twitch streamer Tyler ‘Tyler1’ Steinkamp proved that he could stand toe-to-toe with the stars of the NA LCS after beating down Team Liquid’s Nicolaj ‘Jensen’ Jensen – one of the best League of Legends players in the world.
Who is Tyler1?
Tyler1, or T1 to his loyal fans, is right up there with the most popular channels on all of Twitch – dominating the League of Legends section, despite being known as a ‘toxic’ member of the community.
The streamer, who was once banned by Riot Games and has since labeled himself as ‘reformed’, is easily one of the most entertaining stars on the platform and regularly entertains his fans in a wide variety of ways – be it something as routine as a win in LoL or a deeply-constructed comedic skit.
Tyler1 takes on Jensen
However, he may have found his most entertaining way yet – demolishing popular Team Liquid star and NA LCS champion Jensen.
During his April 18 stream, T1 found himself matched up against the Danish star with his back towards his own team’s nexus. He pushed onwards towards Jensen before taking him on.
After smoking him in their one-on-one fight, the streamer rolled his chair away from his desk, threw his arms up in celebration and stared right towards the camera. “There you have it baby,” shouted Tyler1, celebrating his win. “There you have it!”

The pair’s individual battle wasn’t done there as Jensen sought out revenge. Yet, it didn’t go the Dane’s way as he was once again outplayed by Tyler1 – this time in the jungle.
“He wanted a rematch! He thought he could rematch me,” roared the streamer after walking away from his keyboard, once again victorious. “Are you kidding me? He wanted a rematch and he got one. You think I’m going to back down from a one-vs-one against an LCS champion? Hello no! I fucking took it to him, like a man.”
While it’s pretty unlikely that you’ll see Tyler1 on the NA LCS stage on a regular basis, it’s clear to see that he can go toe-to-toe with some of the best in the game.
It remains to be seen if Jensen will try and get his revenge in some sort of showmatch or similar environment in the near future.
