The full schedule has been announced for the return of the LCS in the summer split and it includes some insane matchups.
The LCS will be among the first few regions to return to competitive play after the Mid-Season Invitational 2019, which saw the European super-team, G2 Esports defeating the LCS representative, Team Liquid in the grand finals.
Team Liquid will return from their impressive run at MSI, which included them defeating the reigning world champions Invictus Gaming in a dominant best of five series, to fight for their spot at Worlds 2019 and prove that they can be viewed as a consistent championship caliber team.
The LCS Summer Split will start on June 1 and the first game of the weekend will feature an incredible matchup between Cloud9 and FlyQuest, two teams who were considered as legitimate title contenders during the Spring Split.
As is tradition, the two LCS spring finalists will be matching up once again on the first day back in action, as we will see TeamSoloMid take on the previous LCS champions, Team Liquid in what is much anticipated series after Team Liquid reverse swept TSM to qualify for MSI 2019.

Another interesting match up during the first weekend back will be Counter Logic Gaming vs 100 Thieves, both of these teams are among the few who made roster changes to their starting lineups, importing players from the TCL and LEC, and will be debuting new rosters for their return.
