The most recent update to Wild Rift, patch 4.1, is now in effect and it came with a new champion addition in Urgot and various small nerfs and buffs to other existing characters. Here is a full Wild Rift tier list, catered to help players better grasp the meta.
When Wild Rift patch 4.0 released, it implemented new tank items, which provided baron lane matchups more build variety and utility. Outside of that, much of the meta remained largely the same.
But now, patch 4.1 has come out and brought with it a new champion for the Baron Lane, Urgot. This time, the meta has shifted with the new addition and several buffs and nerfs to various others.
Urgot, just as most newly added champions, is over-kitted and naturally lands in the S tier. And Garen received a buff to his movement speed when using Decisive Strike, and higher damage reduction when using Courage.
Despite the small buffs, the percentage increases were enough to bump the Baron Lane champion from A to S tier.
As with every Wild Rift Tier List on here, the tiers are ranked average levels of play in a solo queue environment. And within each specific tier in the list, they’re organized alphabetically.
Wild Rift tier list: Support
Tier | Champion |
---|---|
S | Galio, Karma, Nami, Nautilus, Pyke, Rakan, Senna, Soraka, Thresh, |
A | Braum, Gragas, Janna, Leona, Lulu, Lux, Seraphine, Yuumi |
B | Amumu, Ashe, Sett, Sona, Shen |
C | Blitzcrank, Brand, Morgana |
The tank support items increased the viability of crowd control-reliant tank champions in the support role. These champions have admittedly felt a little weaker compared to their enchanter counterparts, especially when taken into a solo queue environment, but they’re now more functional.
Top Pick: Thresh (S tier)
Dawnshroud puts in absolute work with the champion. Thanks to his already high damage numbers and an incredible amount of crowd control, Dawnshroud, which provides extra damage and reveals nearby enemies upon immobilizing enemies, makes Thresh a top-tier pick.
Instead of having to fall back on movement speed-increasing items, which tank supports practically always rushed, having an offensive item option increases Thresh’s viability in the meta.
Notable Pick: Senna (S tier)
Senna is very powerful in Wild Rift patch 4.1. The champion’s damage and healing are off the charts, providing practically every essential element during team fights, outside of front lining. But as long as she has someone to stand in front of her, she’s perfectly capable of taking over the game.
But just because she’s bordering overpowered don’t think it means you can pick her every game. There are often times when picking her will cause your teammates to throw, since Senna doesn’t work the best when in a team of full squishy ranged carries. Therefore, read the room and try to adjust accordingly.
Wild Rift tier list: Bot lane
Tier | Champion |
---|---|
S | Caitlyn, Draven, Ezreal, Lucian, Samira, Tristana, Varus |
A | Corki, Jinx, Kai’Sa, Orianna, Vayne, Xayah, Ziggs |
B | Ashe, Jhin, Morgana |
C | Akshan, Miss Fortune, Senna |
The ADC role is in a powerful state, and holds great precedence in the current meta. This is largely due to two factors: the importance of elemental dragons, and the strength of supports.
Since supports are so strong, ADCs have become more important as well. After all, supports help their carries out, and the carries deal the damage necessary to take over the game.
Top Pick: Caitlyn
Caitlyn is a bit of an interesting case where she’s not necessarily broken in the hands of every player. Instead, she’s a high-skill cap champion who excels when utilized in tandem with a skilled support.
This is because Caitlyn has great follow-up potential with her traps and skill shots. And considering how powerful supports are in the game, Caitlyn’s prevalence in the meta rises as well. For players who know how to properly aim her first ability, alongside taking advantage of her oppressive lane power, the champion becomes a menace.
Notable Pick: Tristana (S tier)
The yordle rocketeer is rising up in the tier list hierarchy. Tristana hasn’t necessarily been weak for a while, but more players are beginning to understand the strengths she provides.
Though her initial laning phase lacks priority, Tristana more than makes up for it with her mid to late-game hyper-carry potential. Not only does she have great burst damage, her ever-increasing range and insane attack speed allow her to deal consistent damage over time.

Especially in a solo queue environment, Tristana excels in all-in engages. If the player maneuvering the champion understands what they’re doing, a jump in almost always spells out death for the enemy.
Wild Rift tier list: Baron lane
Tier | Champion |
---|---|
S | Aatrox, Camille, Fiora, Garen, Jax, Renekton, Riven, Sett, Urgot, Wukong, Yone |
A | Akali, Darius, Gragas, Gwen, Jarven, Jayce, Irelia, Lucian, Malphite, Nasus, Olaf, Shen, Singed, Teemo, Tryndamere, |
B | Dr. Mundo, Kennen, Pantheon, Yasuo |
C | Kayle |
Many of the changes in Wild Rift patch 4.1 targeted the Baron lane champions. Therefore, the role definitely feels a bit more prevalent than it did before, despite its isolated position from the rest of the map.
Top Pick: Wukong (S tier)
Wukong remains a rather powerful champion. He’s capable of cleaning up team fights, and the monkey king’s trading potential in lane isn’t to be taken lightly.
If he plays from ahead, Wukong snowballs the game phenomenally well. His crowd control, utility, and damage are all top tier at the moment, making him easily one the best Baron lane champions in Wild Rift patch 4.1, especially in light of the new tank items.
Notable Pick: Aatrox (S Tier)
Aatrox’s crowd control, damage, and healing make him a force to be reckoned with. If he gets a lead, Aatrox absolutely bullies his lane opponent, creating unplayable circumstances for them. And considering he has three uses of his first ability, similar to Riven, Aatrox’s early game lane dominance is very easy to abuse.
Once ahead, Aatrox is one of the strongest fighters in a team fight. Since he’s rewarded for hitting his abilities and acquiring kills, he snowballs team fights to absurd degrees. This rings especially true in a solo queue environment, where players often lack the coordination to lock him down.
Wild Rift tier list: Mid lane
Tier | Champion |
---|---|
S | Aatrox, Ahri, Corki, Diana, Jayce, Karma, Vex, Yasuo, Yone, Zed, Zoe |
A | Akali, Akshan, Fizz, Galio, Gragas, Irelia, Kassadin, Katarina, Morgana, Lucian, Orianna, Pantheon, Twisted Fate, Veigar, Ziggs |
B | Annie, Brand, Graves, Lux, Singed, |
C | Aurelion Sol, Kayle, Seraphine |
Mid Lane is a pretty strong role in Wild Rift Patch 4.1 since they can freely roam the map. When jungle needs help, mid lane can easily rotate and support. They can also gank bot lane over and over – which allows them to snowball a lead and therefore win the game.
Top pick: Vex
Vex’s ultimate is very abusable. Since Wild Rift is far smaller than League of Legends in regards to map size, it’s easier to hit Vex’s ultimate. In addition, cooldown timers on ultimate abilities are pretty low.
Therefore, players have more opportunities to practice using Vex’s ultimate with smaller repercussions for missing, which results in some incredibly skilled Vex players who manage to take over the game by sniping enemies and jumping right now.
Notable Pick: Zoe (S tier)
The newest champion in Wild Rift is an absolute menace when yielded by a skilled player. Her ability power scaling isn’t balanced at the moment, resulting in some absurd burst damage potential. In addition, since Wild Rift has far lower cooldowns than its League PC counterpart, Zoe makes great use of her second ability, which allows her to pick up used items and summoner spells.
She excels at capitalizing on mistakes, and landing on her sleep essentially spells death for her unfortunate enemies.
Wild Rift Jungle tier list
Tier | Champion |
---|---|
S | Gragas, Kayn, Kha’Zix, Lee Sin, Lilia, Rengar, Shyvana, Vi, Xin Zhao |
A | Camille, Evelyn, Fiora, Gwen, Irelia, Jarvan IV, Jayce, Morgana, Nunu, Olaf, Vi, Wukong |
B | Amumu, Ekko, Diana, Jax, Master Yi, Nautilus, Tryndamere, Rammus, Sett |
C | Dr. Mundo, Fizz |
Jungle is a very strong role, with one of the most impacts in the games’ flow. But with some of the changes, the pacing of jungle has slowed down a slight amount, since leashes are no longer a thing. For the most part, bruiser junglers are the most dominant in the meta.
Top pick: Vi
Vi’s time to shine has come. She’s back on the top of the jungle list, since she can hold her own in 1v1s in the jungle alongside provide strong lockdown targeting key enemy champions. Her CC and mobility make her a force to be reckoned with, since it allows her to traverse the map quite effectively.
Notable pick: Lee Sin (S tier)
Lee Sin is overbearing in the high elo of play. Although he’s definitely one of those champions with a high skill cap, with amateurs not making good use of him, his early game impact is unprecedented.
In a meta full of bruiser junglers, Lee Sin fits perfectly, contesting important jungle objectives like dragon and offering great execution damage on low health targets.
