LEGO has finally released the LEGO Harry Potter Talking Sorting Hat. Here’s what you can expect from this set and where you can buy it.

An array of new LEGO Harry Potter sets were recently released in 2024. However, the recently revealed LEGO replica of the Sorting Hat has to be one of the best. Why? Well, for starters, who doesn’t want to have a brick-built version of one of the most iconic, say, characters from the Wizarding World?

However, there is much more to the LEGO-reimagined Sorting Hat. It’s the first LEGO Harry Potter set to feature a sound brick. Yes, it can speak.

You read that right. The LEGO Harry Potter Talking Sorting Hat can actually place you in a Hogwarts house by announcing, “Gryffindor”, “Slytherin”, “Ravenclaw”, or “Hufflepuff.”

What’s even cooler, those are only four of the 31 randomized sounds it can produce. How neat is that? But in which House will you be placed?

So, how do you make the LEGO Harry Potter Talking Sorting Hat speak? Well, it works exactly like the one from Harry Potter. Indeed, all you have to do is place it on your head. In addition, the sounds can also be activated by tipping the top of this LEGO Harry Potter set.

This kit’s bricks click together to create a LEGO replica reminiscent of the original. It features a host of authentic elements.
