Assassin’s Creed is coming to Magic: The Gathering and it’s bringing its ever-growing roster of assassins. But who’s included?
Magic’s Universes Beyond is taking us into The Animus later on July 5. While series stalwarts like Ezio and Altair have been confirmed, we’ve seen little else outside of a few teasers for who is coming to the game.
Assassin’s Creed spans 30 different titles, with 13 mainline games to take into consideration. The Assassin’s Creed set is less a tentpole like Lord of the Rings, and more in line with Magic’s recent Aftermath set. It’s a limited selection of 100 cards split into Beyond Boosters.
On top of the assassins, the set includes highlights from the series cast of characters. Included are Cleopatra and Leonardo DaVinci.
While the set is quite limited, it doesn’t seem as though any of the main assassins from the game should be missed. We can already spot some unannounced entries on the box art.

Which assassins are in MTG: Assassin’s Creed?
So far here’s the confirmed list based on card reveals:
- Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad
- Featured in the card Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad
- Ezio Auditore da Firenze
- Featured in cards Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Ezio, Blade of Vengeance
- Eivor Varinsdottir
- Featured in Eivor, Battle-Ready
- Edward Kenway
However, on the box art itself, we can already see Kassandra from Odysessy and Evie Frye from Syndicate. While we’re yet to see these cards, we should see more from June 18 when Wizards reveals more about the micro-set.
We could also see parts of the set bulked out with variations of different characters. Ezio already features in two different products (regular packs and the starter set), and Eivor has been confirmed via card art to have a booster version outside the starter set.
