Marvel Rivals’s Sue Storm AKA Invisible Woman has finally arrived, bringing a new stealthy style of combat to the game.
No two characters are built the same in Marvel Rivals. While some are undeniably stronger, it’s not always about their power, but rather how you play them. With that in mind, it’s vital to fully understand a character, even before they’ve been added to the game.
So, if you’re looking for a new stealth addition, or you’re just eager to try out the fantastic (see what I did there) Sue Storm, then here’s all you need to know about the character, from the leaks, and how she’ll likely play on the battlefield.
Invisible Woman stats in Marvel Rivals
- Class: Strategist
- Health: 275
- Movement: 6m per second
Sue Storm’s class is her defining factor, providing some powerful forcefields and gaining the ability to turn invisible, making her health not as important. Though, it’s hardly low compared to certain Duelists like Wolverine.
She’s not the fastest character in the game either, which adds to her four-star difficulty. Nevertheless, she’s strong, and all her abilities lean towards stealth and protection.
Weapons
Sue Storm can manipulate light rays to generate force fields and attack enemies. As such, she uses Orb Projection to damage enemies.

How to play Invisible Woman
Sue is best played up close and personal with her allies, supporting her frontliners and divers. Her heal has limited cast range, so standing far away from your team won’t do you much good.
Force Physics is her fight starter in most cases, with her having the ability to pull enemies closer to her allies. This is valuable for helping them close the gap when pairing her with melee allies. Alternatively, it can be used to push people away if she’s getting dived. This is especially useful against melee tank shredders like Wolverine.
You’ll want to spend as much time as you can fighting up close. Her invisibility is useful only for slipping away or sneaking into the backline with a diver. Play hard and fast with Sue and you’ll do just fine.
Best team comp
- Mister Fantastic
- Black Panther
- Wolverine
- Iron Man
- Hulk
Mister Fantastic
One of the best team comps for Sue Storm is Mister Fantastic, thanks to her Team-Up ability. The two have been built to complement each other in their roles and fighting styles. So having Mister Fantastic by your side would be an ideal team comp, especially given the variety of their classes.
Check out our, Mister Fantastic guide for more details on the character.
Black Panther
In terms of characters fully cemented in the game, you’ll want to choose heroes who can take advantage of her strengths like Black Panther.

Sue’s abilities are perfectly suited to grouping up enemies and giving melee heroes options to stay alive other supports simply can’t give them. For instance, her Guardian Shield gives melee heroes a way to heal and protect themselves from ranged threats like Hela.

Wolverine
In a similar way to Black Panther, having a stellar fighter like Wolverine on your team is a fantastic combination.
All he needs to do is dive in, distract the enemy, and let the Invisible Woman keep him alive while drawing enemies into one spot using her Psionic Vortex.
Check out our Wolverine guide for more details on the character.
Iron Man
Given Sue Storm has an ultimate that makes the team invisible, players will want to choose flying heroes like Iron Man.
Having a deadly flying character who also happens to be invisible is a game-changer, and allows for the enemy team to have to guess your elevation, which will be practically impossible.

Best counters
While the Invisible Woman has only recently landed in Marvel Rivals, her counters are already waiting for her. If you’re struggling to take Sue Storm down, you’ll want to choose the following:
- Punisher
- Iron Man
Punisher
What Invisible Woman lacks is any sort of health, so you’ll want to focus on a character that deals enough damage to take her down before she’s able to heal up or get out of the way. This is where Punisher comes in.
His ranged weapons and ultimate absolutely melt through Sue Storms’s defenses. Simply keep an eye on her and let your weapon lose as soon as she becomes visible or drops those force fields and you’ll be coming out on top.
Check out our Punisher guide for more details on the character.
Iron Man
While Iron Man and Sue Storm work well together, he’s also a formidable opponent against Invisible Woman. Thanks to his flight, powerful weapons, and ultimate, you’re able to stay away from danger while completely destroying Sue Storm.
As previously mentioned, you’ll need to keep an eye on her and be sure to let loose once she’s visible and distracted.
In the meantime, why not try out other powerful Strategist characters, like Mantis or Adam Warlock? Alternatively, if you want stealth, then give Psylocke a go, she’s perfect for damage while remaining unseen.
