Minecraft Monday will not be taking place on September 23 for its 14th week due to a variety of different reasons.
The event that gets all of your favorite streamers together and puts them into the virtual Minecraft battlefield will not be happening this week.
Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR‘ Keem announced on September 20 that Minecraft Monday will be taking a break due to the plethora of events that are taking place around the same time as the tournament.
“Due to Twitchcon & other events so many of our (players) that normally play in Minecraft Monday have to skip this week,” he said. “We made a decision to take this week OFF & will return the following Monday!”
This means back-to-back champs Felix ‘xQc‘ Lengyel and m0xyy won’t have a chance to make it three in a row this week but will instead have to wait for that dream to come true.

TwitchCon kicks off this weekend on September 27 and many streamers are preparing for that as it gives them a chance to meet their fans in person.

On the bright side, September 27 will be the first official time that Friday Fortnite can come back. It was originally canceled due to the Champion Series that was held on Fridays for five weeks, but that has just wrapped up.
However, it’s possible this event won’t take place either due to TwitchCon and the massive Fortnite tournament that’s going on there.
Fortnite announced the next FNCS will be moving to a squads format and it’s very possible that event will be held on a Friday as well so who knows what that’ll mean for Friday Fortnite going forward.
Minecraft Monday should be back to its normal schedule next week so if you’re missing it, you won’t have to wait much longer for it to return.
We can almost surely expect xQc and m0xyy to return so look forward to that.
