YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg made his glorious return to Minecraft on March 6. The Swede frantically searched for his pet dog sidekick Sven after taking a month-long break from his popular series.
In 2019, PewDiePie returned to his gaming roots with the launch of his Minecraft series. It quickly became a cultural phenomenon, and even revived the Microsoft-owned franchise with massive sales.
However after a three month-long break from creating episodes on the sandbox title, the Swedish entertainer has finally booted up his save-file again. His return to Bro Land kicked off with a tense search for his beloved dog Sven.
PewDiePie searches for Sven on his return to Minecraft
On his first Minecraft episode since December 2019, Pewds quickly searched for Sven. He scoured his base while calling out for his pet dog only stopping briefly to admire his giant Swedish Meatball monument.
“Oh my God, the meatball is glorious! But where is Sven!? I haven’t played in so long. Sven!” he called out. He then saw his horse and exclaimed, “Joergen! You have to help me! Joergen the Third, it’s been so long. Let’s find him!”
He then looked up at IKEA Tower and was impressed with how much work he put into his game. “Oh my God, IKEA Tower, so glorious in the sky! Man, I did so much in this game. I haven’t played in over a month. This is crazy,” he exclaimed.
Still baffled at where his sidekick could be, the YouTuber then entered a Nether portal fearful he had left the pooch in the hell-like dimension. “Maybe I left him in the Nether lands,” he said, before joking, “What if he left me for real? Maybe I took so long he decide to leave!”

He hilariously visited the Council of Water Sheep – the Gods in his series lore – and exclaimed, “Oh, Council of Water Sheep, I need guidance. It wasn’t my fault. I had to take break from YouTube, please!”
Pewds then finally found his iconic canine. Ecstatic, he screamed, “Sven!” before throwing food at him “EAT! You must be starving! I left you here of course. I’m so sorry. I love you. The Minecraft series can continue now!”

Despite taking a month-long break in January, the popular YouTuber doesn’t seem to be slowing down. His March 6 return to the sandbox title amassed millions of views and was #1 trending on the platform.
