Twenty-One Pilots began teasing their new era many weeks ago and recently ramped up promo with the reveal of red tape on previous albums and a series of cryptic DEMA letters. What is the album release date and cover art?
Twenty One Pilots’ Clancy arrives on streaming and digital platforms on May 17, 2024. The album is currently up for pre-order.
When the band made the album announcement, they also shared the cover. The album art featured the duo dressed all in black, their silhouettes set against a wide-sweeping fire-centric background.

What is the album’s lead single?
The album’s lead single is titled ‘Overcompensate’ and arrived on February 29, 2024. An official music video was also released.
Hyping up the release, Twenty One Pilots sent out red letters to their fans with cryptic wordplay and clues. Bandito Hub pointed out that in one of the letters, a word-for-word definition for the word “overcompensate” could be found.
On February 22, the band posted a new letter from Clancy in a video clip, at the end of which there is a musical teaser, with fans assuming it’s a teaser for ‘Overcompensate.’
