A woman was left shocked after her Sleep Token tickets were canceled by the venue after her IP address was flagged as a bot.
Over the last few years, Sleep Token has taken over the progressive metal music genre with their iconic sound and anonymous identity.
With over 3.3M monthly users on Spotify, fans flock to in droves to pick up tickets to nearly all of their concerts — causing various venues to flag some accounts as bots in an effort to make sure all fans have a fair chance to get tickets.
Sarahebaus on TikTok was left shocked after the bot protection on Ticketmaster led to the venue canceling her and her husband’s Sleep Token tickets for “scalping.”
Woman’s Sleep Token tickets canceled for “scalping”
Uploaded in early February 2024, Sarahebaus revealed that she had ordered Sleep Token tickets, and just days later, she received an email stating they had issued a refund.
“[The email] said it was canceled by Coca Cola Roxy.. by the venue,” she said. Sarah then explained that Sleep Token added a post on Instagram stating that they were going to look for bots and scalpers to “cancel those tickets and redistribute to real fans.”

“Please tell me that I was not one of these, that it was canceled thinking that I was a scalper?” the TikToker added.
Determined to get her Sleep Token tickets back, Sarahebaus stayed in contact with the venue as well as Ticketmaster, who ultimately was able to let her re-purchase her tickets.
She said that Ticketmaster confirmed that she was flagged as a bot, and a rep from the company called to confirm that they could charge her card for new tickets.
It’s not the first time people have had issues with Ticketmaster in recent years. Back in September, users slammed the company for “overpriced” Olivia Rodrigo tickets.
