LeBron James put on a show in front of a packed Los Angeles crowd as his Lakers overcame a 21-point deficit. But one play in particular blew fans away.
The Lakers (31-28) squared off Wednesday night with their hometown rival Clippers (37-19). As the ninth seed, LeBron James and Co. must finish strong to avoid the play-in tournament.
The Clippers, on the other hand, sit in the fourth spot in the Western Conference as they try to maintain that position for home-court advantage in the first round of the postseason.
Kawhi Leonard’s group got off to a hot start, as the Clippers held a dominant lead heading into the fourth quarter. And then, LeBron caught fire.

Earlier in the game, James brought the ball up the floor and backed Russell Westbrook down in the post. He pump-faked, stepped through, and made the bucket through contact.
However, after the ball went through the hoop, James busted out a backward somersault, which caused hilarious reactions on social media.

Later, the Clippers held a seemingly insurmountable 21-point lead at the beginning of the fourth quarter, but that gap quickly evaporated as James heated up.
He poured in 19 fourth-quarter points, including five three-pointers, and hit clutch shot after clutch shot in the waning minutes.
James finished the game with 34 points, eight assists, and six rebounds en route to the Lakers’ biggest comeback in over 20 years. It was also the largest fourth-quarter comeback in LeBron’s career.
The 39-year-old recently admitted that his time in the NBA is running low. But performances like Wednesday’s have fans wondering if Father Time will ever catch LeBron James.
