Miami Dolphins superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill has put internet and boxing sensation Jake Paul in the hot seat, challenging him to a professional fight in the ring or the UFC octagon.
Hill, a former 2020 Super Bowl champion, is known for his unparalleled play as well as his viral social media challenges.
The five-time first-team All-Pro wideout spoke in a recent interview about his deep desire to launch a professional fighting career after his NFL days come to an end.
And it turns out, Hill saw no better fighter to get the ball rolling against than Paul — who has been one of the top pay-per-view draws in combat sports for nearly six years running.
Tyreek Hill wants to realize childhood boxing dream
Hill went on the “Fully Tilted” podcast and told host Bob Menery that he wants to sit down with UFC CEO Dana White and get his combat career off the ground one day.
Menery then asked the reigning NFL receiving yards leader who he’d want to test his hands against and Paul’s name came up quickly. After the viral content creator labeled Paul as tough, Hill took a bold shot at that assertion:

“I don’t think so bro,” Hill said nonchalantly. When asked if he had hands, the 29-year-old responded with an adamant “Yes bro.”
Hill already carries the reputation of being one of the fastest players in pro football and he’s previously gotten the better of superstars like Terrell Owens in viral races.
Standing at 5-foot-10 and weighing in at 191 pounds, the eight-time Pro Bowler is no stranger to physicality, but boxing is a different animal, and MMA fighting all the more.
Paul, however, currently has a pristine record against celebrity opponents and pro fighters. He is 8-1 in his boxing career with incredible victories over UFC legends Tyron Woodley twice, Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz most recently.
Hill and Paul’s builds are almost identical matches, making for a fair matchup. Their enigmatic personalities and vitality would do major numbers in merging several fan groups in one spectacle event. It remains to be seen whether these two get to face off in the future.
