March 19 update makes it one of the biggest patches in recent memory for the game.
A few heroes, like Lúcio, McCree and Wrecking Ball, received updates that could significantly affect how they play in a match.
Lúcio sees more changes in this update than perhaps any other hero, with speed buffs from Amp it Up, Crossfade and Wall Riding reduced.
The developers said his speed changes were made because the ability was “too strong” in some situations, but some players have said the changes are actually a nerf to how Lucio played before.
Soundwave (boops) now count towards offensive assists, which means at least Lucio will finally get the credit he deserves in the latest patch.
McCree gets a massive buff to his ultimate Dead Eye, which is increased from 275 to 550 damage per second after locking onto targets for 1.5 seconds.

Players on the PTR have already shown the upgraded ultimate is even able to kill through a full HP Reinhardt shield.
His secondary fire, Fan the Hammer, now does 50 damage instead of 55, in an effort to prevent him from melting opponents as quickly as he was.
Finally, Wrecking Ball AKA Hammond, no longer has to exit ball mode in order to use his adaptive shield, which should increase his survivability while harassing the enemy.
Just how the update will affect Overwatch and the meta remains to be entirely seen, but a new hero and plenty of changes definitely has a lot of players excited.
