Lucio is known for his radical movement, and this wall-riding sequence on Hanamura might be the smoothest chain of events possible in Overwatch.
The Brazillian Support hero is best known for amping it up in the midst of combat and keeping his team in the fight thanks to some healing beats. However, Lucio can often be found sky-high gliding across walls due to one of his quirky passive abilities that keep him stuck to any surface.
While players often use this advanced-movement to surprise the opposition and boop some unsuspecting enemies off the map, wall-riding tech can also be a great way to get from one side of the map to another with blistering speeds.
Taking things to an entirely new level, one Lucio veteran has put together an impressive path on Hanamura that allows Lucio to beeline from the attacking spawn, all the way to Point B and back in a matter of seconds.
Showcased by ‘Puffis_Senpai,’ a beastly Lucio player known for their innovative maneuvers, the latest and perhaps greatest feat allows the DJ to keep his feet off the ground while traversing the entire Assault map.
Starting among the many breakable arcades in the attack spawn, they wallride twice before properly entering the map in order to ramp up a great deal of speed.
Elegantly gliding through the battlefield, Lucio utilizes any form of architecture possible to bounce towards their next location. From walls to trees and even vehicles, they’re able to blitz through both points of Hanamura in just 30 seconds.

The sequence is capped off by returning to spawn before an initial team fight would even be wrapped up. Impressing even the most seasoned Support players around the world, this silky smooth Hanamura pathing is sure to leave your opponents in a state of shock.
“Man whenever I see you post one of these, it always makes me wanna get better at my wall riding,” said one Overwatch player in response to the delightful sequence.
“This is hypnotic. And inspiring as a Lucio main. If you’ll excuse me I’m going to practice wall riding around every map,” LumaPlays chimed in after feeling inspired by the truly top-notch movement on display.
While rolling out in such a fashion is obviously a huge risk in competitive play, getting behind the enemy team in a matter of seconds could be a fantastic way to throw your opposition for a loop.
You’ll have to get into a private lobby and practice every step of this remarkable Hanamura sequence if you hope to replicate it any time soon but it would be a surefire way to impress your friends online.
