An Overwatch YouTuber did his best to live up to a dug-up Reddit bet for the consumption of a “cow’s d*ck” if a sequel to the game was ever announced.
As we know, Overwatch 2 was announced at BlizzCon 2019 with a new cinematic trailer, and a very early look at gameplay.
Along with the big sequel news, one Overwatch Redditor also dug up an old post where another user promised to eat a “cow’s d*ck” if a sequel was ever announced, asking them to own up to their promise.
It was soon revealed that the one who made the wager was Nate from the Blizzard Guides YouTube channel, and once posts on the bet reached the top of Reddit, there was no turning back.
As he found out, finding a cow member (more specifically a bull’s, since cows are female) isn’t very easy unless you know someone.
Luckily, he was able to find a version of what he was looking for at a pet shop, and a more edible option from a local restaurant.

“Beef pizzle” is intended for dogs to chew on, and Nate said it was impossible to get it into an actual edible state.
“It was kind of difficult to try and get a bite out of it, I tried rehydrating it, boiling it, but it didn’t change anything,” he said. “Considering this is just a stupid internet bet that Reddit told me to do.”
The “cow fries” (see: Rocky Mountain Oysters) didn’t seem too bad, and Nate chomped them like a champ, but the dog chew was practically inedible.
Other than a few tiny pieces, he wasn’t able to get anything off of the stick, but Nate can now technically claim to have come through on his side of the bargain.
If we’ve learned anything from this incident, it’s that if you have a popular YouTube channel, you should think twice about making outlandish bets on the internet without being willing to follow through.
