Throughout Overwatch’s lifespan, many people have formed relationships playing Blizzard’s hero shooter or strengthened existing ones. A new clip shows that couples who play together win together.
Posting to r/Overwatch on Reddit, user Dodog33 uploaded a video of his Soldier gameplay on Watchpoint Gibraltar as his team pushed the payload into third on the popular escort map.
The poster’s wife, playing Baptiste, put down the Amplification Matrix ultimate doubling any damage that came through it just as he activated 76’s Tactical Visor to aimbot the enemy team.
With such insane damage output, Dodog33 was able to score a quintuple kill with his team’s Winston picking up a kill for the complete elimination of the enemy and a team kill.
As some users in the thread were quick to point out, the increased damage output was also the result of an Orisa using Super Charger which added an addition 50% to every teammate’s shot.
As such, Soldier pretty much turned into Sentry Mode Bastion with an aimbot with so much firepower.
For anyone looking to climb in ranked, finding yourself a wife who can game with you could be your ticket to increased SR.

Overwatch couples are all over
Earlier this month, Dexerto reported on a couple that met each other through Overwatch. Despite the fact user You-Done lived in Germany and her affection was down under in Australia, the two fell in love.
After meeting for the first time in person, You-Done’s future husband decided to hand in his work notice, pack a suitcase and live with her in Germany.
The two were married in August 2018 and had their first child a year later.
For whatever reason, Overwatch seems to be the game that brings future partners together in ways that no other game ever has before. Only time will tell if the trend continues whenever Overwatch 2 finally launches.
Currently, there’s no release date for the ‘sequel’, with Blizzard’s own Jeff Kaplan admitted they had “no idea” when it’s coming out.
