An Overwatch player showed off a “Doomfist Parkour” Workshop mode that helps players improve their movement mechanics with the hero.
The Workshop mode involves using Doomfist to traverse across the map without hitting the floor, and Reddit user Epidermis_OW showed off their completion of the Hanamura course with a blistering time of just over two minutes.
The mode starts off the player in a circular zone, from which they must move to the next zone without touching the floor. If the player touches the floor before they reach the target zone, they’re reset back to the start point. In this way, the player must move across the map from zone to zone.
In some cases, simply using Doomfist’s abilities in the right order isn’t sufficient – you also need to use some clever tricks to get the most out of them, such as hitting surfaces at an angle with Rocket Punch in order to “bounce” off of them and gain height or distance. In some cases, it’s even necessary to use the roofs to stall while abilities come back off of cooldown.
While ‘Doomfist Parkour’ acts as an interesting challenge in its own right for those that wish to test how fast they can traverse the map’s course, it’s also a useful training tool.

Movement is a key aspect of Doomfist’s kit, with the ability to dive in and out of the enemy lines key to maximizing his impact as an assassin and general disruptive force. Completing this course requires a great degree of precision as well as an understanding of various movement tricks, so practicing it will inevitably hone your mechanics with the hero.
For those who wish to try out the mode, you can do so by importing it with the share code QH2C9.
Watching Epidermis_OW’s demonstration on Hanamura might also be worthwhile, as not only do many of the challenges require a specific sequence and timing but in some cases, it might not be entirely clear how it’s even possible to make it from one point to the next.
