It’s likely an artist will be announced to perform the day of the finals. Last year, DJ Khaled performed at the Overwatch League Grand Finals at the Barclays Center in New York City.
Paz, who is also scheduled to perform at the Garrix concert poked fun at Khaled’s performance from last year. In a response to the Fusion he joked, “don’t worry Khaled sent me his set from last year all I have to do is hit play and eat a sandwich.”
The Overwatch League Grand Finals match itself is scheduled for the following day, September 29. It will conclude the league’s second season and its playoffs.
