A new skin for Winston appears to have been leaked and it seems to celebrate the London Spitfire’s Inaugural Season Overwatch League Grand Finals win.
The Spitfire came out on top of the Philadelphia Fusion to walk away with the first ever Overwatch League Championship at the Grand Finals in 2018.
After putting out a skin to commemorate the 2018 MVP Sung-hyeon ‘JJoNak‘ Bang, it seems the League is also planning to celebrate the Inaugural Season Champs with a skin as well.
Why a Winston skin?
Exactly why the League chose to go with a Winston skin is unknown, there could be more skins coming too, since this is still an unconfirmed leak at this point.
London does have Jae-hee ‘Gesture’ Hong on their roster, who’s widely considered to be one of the top Winston players in the League.
What’s the skin look like?
Posted by Reddit user Wengzan, the new Winston skin turns the scientist into a World War fighting ace, with goggles and an old helmet.

The best part of the skin is probably Winston’s backpack, which now has propellors spinning away behind him.
It would make a lot of sense for the Overwatch League to celebrate the Spitfire with a new skin, but this is still just a leak – so nothing has been confirmed by the League so far.
If the skin turns out to be real, there’s a good chance it will be available for 200 OWL tokens, just like to Jjonak Zenyatta skin was.

With the League getting closer and closer to the 2019 Grand Finals in Philadelphia, the Winston skin could be coming to celebrate the event, but that’s all just speculation at this point.
Based on the “Zen-Nakji” skin if pilot Winston is real, the skin will probably only be available for a limited time – so Winston mains should start saving those Tokens right away.
