After noticing changes to D.Va’s character model in Overwatch 2, some fans are fearful Blizzard could revert the changes based on the response from fans.
The second Overwatch 2 beta introduced new character models for every hero in the game, and D.Va’s especially seemed to catch players’ attention.
After a post pointing out the “buff” that had been given to the Tank hero went viral on the Overwatch subreddit, some players worry Blizzard might reverse it.
Overwatch 2 nerf coming for D.Va already?
The change, essentially, is that her backside was made a little bigger by the developers.

If you look at the Reddit post that kicked this whole thing off, you’ll notice mods have basically purged the comment section.
The few remaining comments though, warn players that pointing it out could run the risk of Blizzard reversing the changes.
“You guys constantly pointing it out are going to get the buffs reversed,” one user warned in the comments, while another added: “Shut up before they nerf it!!!”
A few others called for nerfs, saying that the changes were unnecessary to begin with.

While there’s plenty of talk about the redesign, none seem to be too critical, so whether or not Blizzard will actually revert these changes remains to be seen.
As stated, D.Va is just one of the heroes with an updated base look for Overwatch 2 during this beta, but there’s no doubt her new look has gotten most of the attention.
