It’s that time of year again, the leaves are changing, things are getting spooky, and Overwatch has announced the dates for its fan-favorite Halloween Terror event.
Every October, Overwatch fans put on their favorite Halloween skins and prepare to face down hordes of Dr. Junkenstien’s monstrous creations.
This year, the Halloween Terror Event starts on October 9 and runs through the month until October 31, according to the official Overwatch Twitter.
Fans can expect the return of the “Dr. Junkenstein’s Revenge” PvE event as well as plenty of Halloween themed skins, voice lines and sprays for Overwatch’s cast of heroes.
Blizzard also likes to give some Overwatch maps a Halloween makeover during the event each October and, based on the tweet, it looks like this year it’s Château Guillard’s turn.

Last year Eichenwalde and Hollywood got the spooky treatment, and the Halloween atmosphere on Château should make hearing a Mei coming out of nowhere during death match to freeze you even more terrifying.
