Apparently, his departure was so hasty that he left behind a bunch of his clothes and even a keyboard.
The gear has sat unused, taking up space, but the broadcast team at the Overwatch World Cup at Blizzcon came up with a good way to get rid of it.

They gave it to fans. Overwatch commentator Brennon Hook took the box onto the analyst desk and decided to just leave in the middle of the segment.

He came out to where xQc was being interviewed as a player for Team Canada and just started throwing shirts into the crowd. Some fan even got the box it all came in.

Alex Mendez, the host, and Josh Wilkinson even offered words of protest as Hook made his leave from the stage.
They welcomed Hook back with open arms, and if that segment wasn’t planned out, it worked surprisingly well in the incredibly structured world of broadcast.
