It’s hard to know who to trust on the internet, so when someone in one of Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel’s Overwatch matches claimed to be Jong-ryeol ‘Saebyeolbe’ Park of the New York Excelsior, the streamer decided to investigate.
After playing a match together on LiJiang tower, Saybyeolbe, playing on his alt account, tells xQc that he “is sbb,” but the streamer doesn’t buy it.
“It’s not him,” xQc tells viewers with confidence while he grills Saybyeolbe in chat with questions only the real SBB would probably know.
After asking what he thinks is the imposter where Team Canada’s practice booth was during the 2017 Overwatch World Cup group stage in Poland, xQc confidently tells viewers again “It’s not him,” after SBB fails to remember.
But it was Saybyeolbe, and the New York pro proved it by mentioning xQc on Twitter with a line from their in-game conversation.

The New York Excelsior got in on the action as well, poking fun at xQc for not believing Saybyeolbe when he said he was indeed Saybyeolbe.
No wonder @xQc had a hard time figuring out that was really @saebyeolbe :upside_down_face: pic.twitter.com/A2iEqkhDFp

xQc seemed pretty entertained by the whole thing, quote tweeting Saybyeolbe’s tweet with “LMFAOOOOOOOOOOO”, as soon as he saw his investigation had been incorrect.
You’d have a hard time coming up with two Overwatch players who are more polar opposites of each other than xQc and Saybyeolbe, which is part of the reason why this interaction is an instant classic.
