This Minecraft player took the time to completely build Overwatch’s Oasis Gardens in what is almost a shot for shot recreation.
Closing in on a decade after its release, Minecraft is still going very strong and fans are still showing off their creative chops with brand-new creations.
Even if you aren’t the most imaginative builder out there, Minecraft players have still shown us they can create things from other games, and this is exactly one what fan has done with this Overwatch creation.
Overwatch meets Minecraft
Imgur user ‘halvencyon’ showed off their amazing recreation of Oasis Gardens, a map added to Overwatch back in 2017.
There are numerous pictures showing off various angles of what the map looks like in Minecraft and it’s pretty incredible with how alike everything is. The album shows side-by-side shots with Overwatch and Minecraft, driving home the similarities.
What’s even more impressive about all of this is that the creator said the design only took 16 hours, meaning they were able to completely recreate a map in under a day.

It’s always interesting to see what other video games look like in another, and this proves that Overwatch and Minecraft can cross over quite well.
Now one thing we have to be on the lookout for is someone to use Overwatch’s Workshop mode and make some Minecraft creations there.
The Workshop mode has made many things possible in the game that were previously thought impossible, so making some sort of Minecraft mode isn’t out of the realm of possibilities.
Let’s just wait and see if there’s a way for Minecraft Hunger Games to make its way to Overwatch or vice-versa. With the Workshop mode, nothing would be a surprise.
