Dallas Fuel’s Pongphop ‘Mickie’ Rattanasangchod had a hilarious reaction to his own ability after pulling off an epic play in ranked Overwatch.
Mickie pulled off an incredible out-play against an enemy Reinhardt while defending the first stage of Hollywood, and reacted in characteristic fashion.
Seeing an undefended D.Va with no shield to hide behind, the enemy Reinhardt attempted to land his Earthshatter, having been nano-boosted by his Ana.
As Reinhardt made to put the hammer down, however, Mickie hit D.Va’s boosters and went vertical, climbing enough to avoid the ultimate entirely.
Mickie’s dodge meant the charged Reinhardt had no targets to eliminate, and was quickly taken down by the defending team. The push was repelled, two ultimates spent for nothing.
“I’m so good at this game!” a delighted Mickie exclaimed, shortly followed by his team-mate asking “wait, what did you do?”

The technique is certainly one worth bearing in mind for D.Va players, although it does require some fairly swift reactions.
Mickie originally made his name with his D.Va play, excelling on the hero when he came in as an emergency substitute for Team Envy in APEX Season One, ultimately helping secure the title and remaining with the team as they became the Dallas Fuel.
Unfortunately, during the Overwatch League’s inaugural season Mickie struggled to maintain his prowess relative to some of the other elite flex tanks – although he did adapt exceptionally well to the addition of Brigitte in Stage 4, the Fuel’s most successful stage of Season One.
Mickie will likely be looking to reestablish himself among the world’s great D.Va players in the second season of the Overwatch League, which kicks off on February 14.
