In total, three stars from the San Fransisco Shock: Moth, Super and Sinatraa made the cut. The latter two of which are in the running for Overwatch League season 2 MVP.
The experienced roster is will be looking to avenge years of disappointments at the world championships.
In 2017, the stacked American roster dropped out in the first round to South Korea – the current reigning 3x champions who have never lost a single match in the World Cup.
Then in 2018, Team UK pulled off a tremendous upset by defeating the United States in round one. One of the most unexpected results in the history of theesport.
The 2019 Overwatch World Cup begins Friday, November 1, 2019 at Blizzcon.
