Toronto is one of eight new franchises joining the Overwatch League this year and fans will have a chance to get more details on the new team during an unveiling party in Toronto on October 24.
The team announced the event on Twitter and told fans the party would be held at Toronto’s Berkely Church, with an unspecified limited capacity for fans.
Fans that can’t make it aren’t out of luck, though, as the team said they would release streaming details for the event soon.
This isn’t the first time an Overwatch League team has held an event in their namesake city, but it is the first time a team has revealed full details live in front of fans.

With eight new teams in the Overwatch League, we’re sure to see more creative ways of unveiling team details, but none so far have been as inclusive at Toronto’s.
It remains to be seen how many fans will show up to the Toronto event versus how many will tune into the yet-to-be-announced stream, but based on the responses to the original Tweet, they shouldn’t have a problem packing them in.
