An overworked Palworld player has warned others to lay off the grind on the first playthrough while giving some useful tips and describing their experience.
The gameplay in Pocketpair’s Palworld revolves around the cute little animals called “Pals” that live in the world with the players. The adorable Pals are more than simply a sidekick; they’re a vital part of the game that lets you do all sorts of farming, crafting, and exploring.
The distinctive feature of Palworld is the exceptional gaming experience it offers due to the seamless integration of these various elements. Steam record-breaker games like Starfield and Elden Ring were surpassed on the first day of the Palworld’s release.
Hence, to build a strong team of Pals, players are now turning to rapid ways and instructions to level up and advance through the game more quickly. Nonetheless, a stressed-out player has cautioned others to skip the grind and go easy into the game the first time around.
Overworked Palworld player warns others to forgo modern gaming methods on first playthrough
A Reddit user named Deesanten shared their story of being an overworked Palworld player who has ruined their experience with the game due to modern gaming habits. They said, “Started off this game as part of the hype train, only to find myself immediately lost in it.”
The player then continued, “Then, once the first resource wall hit and I had to travel irl, I started looking up YouTube videos and tips. Little by little the game lost all its wonder it became like every other game where I was following the optimal route, optimal building techniques to get past the grinds quicker.”

While concluding their story they said, “I’m still only level 40 and still seeing new pals out in the world, but it’s not longer playing for fun now it’s just breeding optimal pals, capturing a ton for exp, and moving on to next area.” The user then cautioned other players by advising, “Enjoy their first playthrough slowly because once you spoil it, there’s no going back”
Reacting to their story, a Palworld player chimed in, “It’s always more fun for me to just play blindly until I get stuck. I also like to challenge myself and see if I can do better than the recommendations, and that’s always a delight.” Another commented, “The game has been out a week, pace yourself, boy.”
As Palworld continues to dominate the Steam and Twitch charts with a sleeper hit this year, the game is finally rolling out updates and mod support for players to explore it further.
