The Palworld player base is not happy with how many resources they are spending to repair some of their equipment.
Equipment wears down pretty easily in Palworld, especially weapons. These items are used a lot in almost every phase of the game, deteriorating as they do.
Luckily, players can use their camp and other items to repair their equipment when needed, at the cost of some resources they gather.
However, there are some pieces of equipment that Palworld fans have come to realize are far too expensive to repair.
Palworld fans not happy with repair costs
The issue of repair costs led to a debate on the Palworld subreddit, where a player made a post titled: “Mother of God… I’m trying to repair here.”
Their post shows the requirements to repair their Rocket Launcher, which requires a whopping 180 Pal Metal Ingots and 72 Polymer.
The community agrees that the price of repair feels too high as well:

“The game coddles you in the early levels. Vixy basically giving free arrows and pal spheres. Then you get into bullets and the pain starts. And anything beyond common weapons? Repairs really add up.”
The amount of resources needed to repair in Palworld is so high that one player has even resorted to using mods as a way to circumvent it.
“I shamelessly use a mod to increase durability to almost infinite. There’s enough things to grind for without having to worry about that.”
However, one player does come to the defense of the repair costs, citing how high the durability is for the Rocket Launcher and other high-level equipment.
One person even leaves their game on overnight so that their Pals can mine resources for them, but this is a strategy that many don’t want to rely on.
Repair costs may just be one more thing for the devs to look at as Palworld continues to work its way through Early Access.
