Palworld has a bunch of useful crafting recipes to unlock that will help you survive on the Palapagos Islands. Just steer clear of one particular gun.
Palworld has captured the attention of millions of players globally thanks to its simple ‘Pokemon with guns’ elevator pitch. Of course, our own review explains that the game is much more than that.
The game’s survival and building mechanics are just as important as its creature collection. That doesn’t mean that a significant portion of Palworld isn’t Pokemon with guns, and you better be careful about which guns you’re using.
Reddit user u/fluffy_boy_cheddar has warned other Palworld players to avoid unlocking one particular weapon. According to them, the Decal Gun Set is a waste of valuable Ancient Technology Points.
Be careful unlocking Palworld’s Decal Gun Set

They crafted the Decal Gun 5 which blasts out an image of Relaxaurus. It sounds fun but there’s a pretty massive drawback. “While it is neat to see the paintings, they disappear after a minute or so,” they elaborated. “So lame.”
Other players drawn in by the allure of bombing bases with adorable little Pal paintings expressed similar dissatisfaction with the lack of permanence that the Decal Gun offered. It also requires rare Ancient Civilization Parts to craft which is a massive loss for little gain.
Of course, some players think the potential hilarity of the Decal Guns outweighs their flaws.
You can actually plaster unsuspecting Pals with hideously distorted decals and that’s more than worth it for certain players.
