Palworld players voiced their praise towards the game being so much fun without having content locked behind microtransactions.
Palworld gained traction quickly in the gaming industry and became one of the most-played games ever on Steam.
Players immediately loved the cute (but sometimes terrifying Pals), the base building, the intense boss fights, and also the expansive open world that all blended together to offer an experience that has captivated the attention of many.
Developers Pocket Pair beat many other player count numbers from AAA studios, despite not having the same budgets, and missing out on some other features.
But, players have claimed that one missing feature in Palworld is the “best part of the game.”

“You know one thing I really love about this game that no ones really talking about?” They rhetorically asked.
“No microtransactions,” the fan continued. “I don’t have to pay extra to get faster XP. I don’t have a hundred skin options in front of me. I don’t need to buy the Ultimate Unlimited Digital Extreme Upgrade just to gain access to the Legendary Pals… I just get to play the damn game like I used to when I was growing up. Makes me happy.”
Other people couldn’t agree more, specifically when nearly every other gaming release is packed with DLCs and Skins.
“Yeah, usually actually good paid games don’t have forced microtransactions, I know, it’s crazy,” one person said. “It’s depressing that that’s something that even needs to be talked about these days…” another agreed.
It seems Pocket Pair has done everything right with their monster-catching game so far, but only time will tell if they manage to consistently deliver quality updates to keep players interested.
