After the discovery of a handful of cosplay costumes based on several different Pals, the Palworld community is wishing they could forget them.
The Pals in the Palworld have quickly taken over the hearts of the game’s community for a variety of reasons, from looks to their overall demeanor.
As a result, many members of the community have found numerous ways to pay homage to their favorite ones.
But this love may have gone too far, as the Palworld fans have discovered the existence of Pal cosplay costumes that are more terrifying than cute.
Palworld players hate cosplay costumes
The costumes were shown on the Palworld subreddit, where the poster simply says: “Thanks, I hate it, Aliexpress.”
The post comes with an image of the costumes in question, four different outfits based on Depresso, Grizzbolt, Cattiva, and Incineram. This includes the costumes being worn by models.
In response, the community is less than thrilled about their existence, with one user saying: “The devil works fast but bootleg merch stores work faster.”
In particular, the Palworld fans are drawn to the costume for Depresso, mainly because of the Pal’s presence as a meme within online circles.

“Depresso costume? Isn’t that just a retail work uniform?”
Many users point to the uncanny valley effect of the costumes, with each one having somewhat of a resemblance to their character, while having a very distinct difference from them as well.
“Depresso with a neck is unexpectedly terrifying.”
Or, as another user says: “I wanna wear Depresso, but not an Ali-Depresso.”
This doesn’t mean there aren’t some fans, though, as many are finding amusement along with the horror: “It’s about to be 2 sold.”
Whether it is horrific or hilarious, it is clear that Palworld is going to continue dominating the conversation online within its community and elsewhere.
