A new update has been released for Palworld on Xbox and the Microsoft Store PC version, fixing a notorious crashing issue and problems with controllers & buttons.
Palworld is still in Early Access, which means that fans should expect glitches and performance issues in the near future, as well as unique gameplay options that could be patched out in future updates, should they go against the intentions of the developers.
Some of these issues are more damaging than others. While T-poses and texture pop-ins are a frequent problem, there is also a bug that can ruin your character’s stats, making it incredibly difficult to continue using your save file.
Luckily, the developers are on the case, and updates are being released to fix the ongoing problems with Palworld. The latest patch fixes a severe issue affecting all game versions, along with some PC-specific problems.

The black screen bug was annoying, and it’s good to see it resolved so quickly. The controller problem was specific to the PC platform, and it wasn’t game-breaking: it was just annoying for people who don’t like keyboard and mouse.
Unfortunately, there are some major issues with the game. Along with the aforementioned memory bug, there is also a problem that prevents you from loading a world if Palworld’s multiplayer mode is selected, forcing you to put it offline if you want to play the game.
Hopefully, these issues will quickly be fixed by the developers. Palworld has shot up the Steam charts and has quickly made a name for itself with gamers worldwide. It would be a shame if its incredible launch were diminished by bugs and performance issues, much like what happened to Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.
