Chillet is one of the strongest Pals in Palworld so it’s only natural that trainers want to obtain the powerful Dragon and Ice type. Here’s exactly where you can find and catch Chillet in the game.
Though Pals like Digtoise and Dinossum are notable for their utility and work production in Palworld, creatures that shine in combat are extremely desirable as they can make your team as strong as possible.
Chillet is both powerful and has a unique type combination, being a Dragon/Ice-type, which means it excels in situations that other creatures may struggle in. However, you’ll have to find one before you can strengthen your team with Chillet.
Where to find Chillet in Palworld
Chillet can be found in Palworld at either the grassy section of the northern ice continent or on Frostbound Mountain near the Tower of the Free Pal Alliance.
Alternatively, a level 11 Chillet boss that respawns every hour can be found east of the Rayne Syndicate Tower Entrance where players will have fought Palworld’s first boss, Zoe and Grizzbolt. This Chillet is closer to the starting area and spawns at a much lower level than its counterparts.
Chillet can also be found in the Sacred Mountains Cavern Dungeon located in the Tundra biome.
Finally, it’s possible to hatch a Chillet from a Frozen Egg, or purchase one from the Black Marketeer for a starting cost of 3,450 Gold Coins.
How to catch Chillet
Despite Chillet being one of the most powerful Dragon and Ice-type Pals, the frost weasel is fairly easy to catch. Its catch rate isn’t that low and it’s perfectly possible to acquire one using only Pal Spheres, especially if targeting the lower-level Alpha boss variant.

If you are struggling to catch Chillet, we would advise weakening it first by using a suitably leveled Fire-type Pal. Just take care when attacking with your Fire creatures as their attacks can often cause damage over time to enemies so make sure Chillet doesn’t fall unconscious before you can catch it!
How to breed Chillet
You can also obtain Chillet via breeding. Simply place the two Pals in your Breeding Farm, then move the Egg into an Egg Incubator, and wait for it to hatch. The following combos are the best breeding options for the Pal:
Chillet Skills
As well as having Level 1 work suitability in Cooling and Gathering, Chillet can learn the following active skills in Palworld:
Skills | Description | Requirements |
---|---|---|
Wriggling Weasal | Chillet can be ridden at a Mount, and it will apply Dragon damage to the player’s attacks while mounted. | Requires a Chillet Saddle that can be unlocked at Level 13. |

Dragon Cannon | Hurls an energy ball imbued with draconic energy at enemies. | Level 7 |
Dragon Burst | Quickly discharges draconic energy and damages enemies around it. | Level 15 |

Cryst Breath | Enshrouds an enemy in a frigid blast of air, dealing continuous damage. | Level 40 |

What loot does it drop?
When you defeat or catch a Chillet, it drops Leather in Palworld.
Leather is one of the core crafting materials in the game so it’s always good to have some on hand. You can use it to build other resources including Cement, a Water Fountain, and various Pal harnesses.
That’s how to get your hands on Chillet! If you’re jumping into the game ahead of the Sakurajima update, here’s how to level up fast, if Palworld has Shinies, and the very best Breeding combos to use.
