Being such a sought-after Pokemon, especially now it will appear more frequently in the wild during the World of Wonders Taken Over event, you might be wondering whether or not Shiny Scraggy is available to catch in Pokemon Go. Before you spend hours hunting one down, here’s your answer.

Referred to as the Shedding Pokemon in the Pokedex, Scraggy first appeared in Pokemon Black & White’s Unova region on the Nintendo DS. It then went on to make its Pokemon Go debut in 2020.

Scraggy is a great Pokemon to catch in the game, especially because of its evolution Scrafty – which is available with just 50 Candies – is a top choice for both the Great League and the Ultra League.

How to get Scraggy in Pokemon Go

Scraggy will appear more frequently in the wild during the World of Wonders Taken Over event from Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 12 AM until Sunday, March 31, 2024, at 11:59 PM local time. The Pokemon will spawn alongside other sought-after creatures, like Inkay and Sableye.

World of Wonders Taken Over also marks the debut of Shadow Groudon and Shiny Sandile in Pokemon Go.

Can Scraggy be Shiny in Pokemon Go?
