Trainers lamenting the lack of Galar representation in Pokemon Go got good news with the announcement of the latest season, as it will focus on creatures from Galar, Paldea, and Hisui.
The Delightful Days season will partially focus on Pokemon and mechanics from the Sword & Shield era, such as Dynamax and Gigantamax. Starting with the Go Fest 2025 events, Niantic’s game will introduce Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta, along with many others.
Here are all of the Galar Pokemon currently available and those announced to be coming to the game soon.
All Galar Pokemon in Pokemon Go
There are currently 54 unique Pokemon from Gen 8 in Pokemon Go. These include the Galar starters, Legendaries from Sword & Shield and its DLC, evolutions of regional variants, and common early-game ‘mon.

The following Pokemon from the Galar region are announced to be joining the game during the Delightful Days season:
- Yamper
- Boltund
On the other hand, the following will be getting alternative temporary forms:
- Gigantamax Rillaboom
- Gigantamax Cinderace
- Gigantamax Inteleon
