Spritzee is just one of many familiar faces available to catch in the Galar Region. If you’re struggling to find one, though, don’t worry as we know exactly where to look.
The eighth generation of Pokemon have arrived, with many trainers having already discovered the vast majority of species that the new region has to offer. In order to complete the complete the entire Pokedex in these new games, though, fans are going to have to scour the world for old species as well.
First added in Gen 6, Spritzee has managed to find itself in one of the new titles – exclusively available to find in the wild in just Pokemon Shield.
For those looking to pick one up in Pokemon Sword, it’s worth noting that running around in tall grass anywhere in your game would be a colossal waste of time as the only way you’re going to be able to get one is by transferring it from Pokemon Shield.
Where to find Spritzee in Pokemon Shield
If you’re playing Pokemon Shield, though, you’re in luck. It’s not really too difficult to find or catch, to be honest.
The Fairy-type Pokemon spawns in a number of different locations across the map, unlike some of the rarer additions that can be found lurking solely in the Wild Area. It can be found Route 5, Giant’s Mirror, Glimwood Tangle, Stony Wilderness, and even in Max Raid Battles.
Now, you’re probably thinking ‘quite the selection, but where is best to look?’ Well, it all depends on the weather really. In Route 5, you have a 30% chance of finding it in the overworld, but 14% in the long grass.

There seems to be a much higher chance of finding it at Giant’s Mirror, but only in foggy conditions, where the spawn rate increases to 40%. At Glimwood Tangle there’s a 10% chance of seeing one and 30% in Stony Wilderness, when it’s overcast.
How to evolve Spritzee
This isn’t really a secret trick, as most people who have played any of the video games Spritzee has featured in will know how to evolve it. Yet, it doesn’t follow the same pattern as most other species, with many simply evolving at a particular level, so it’s worth noting just in case you’re looking to get your hands on its evolved form – Aromatisse.
In order for it to evolve, you’re going to have to trade it with another trainer and have it holding a very specific item, a sachet. So, where do you find one of those?
Head over to the Hammerlocke location on the map and visit the Pokemon Center. Once you get inside, you will notice that it has a small store inside where you can pick up the item you’re looking for at a price of 10BP.
Once that’s out of the way, simply have your Spritzee hold the item while making a trade and soon enough you – and your fellow trainer – will have checked off yet another Pokemon in the Galar Region Pokedex.
