Out of all the Pokemon Go Lure Modules, the Golden Lure Module is the one that stands out as it attracts very sought-after creatures. Here’s how to get the very rare Golden Lure in Niantic’s game.
Pokemon Go has six different types of Lure Modules for players to try out. Regular ones increase wild spawns, while the Glacial, Mossy, Magnetic, and Rainy can help you evolve particular creatures according to typing.
On the other hand, the elusive Golden Lure Module’s purpose is to help you catch a very elusive and tiny Pokemon that loves being around shiny things, while also getting you extra items. However, there’s a process you must follow first to obtain a Golden Lure Module in the game.
How to get Golden Lure Modules
Players who would like to use Golden Lure Modules will first need to pair their mobile app with their copy of Pokemon Scarlet or Violet.
Once the pairing is done, they have to send postcards to the Gen IX games to obtain them. More specifically, Pokemon Go players will receive a Golden Lure Module for every five postcards they send to Scarlet & Violet.

How to use a Golden Lure Module
Players who have obtained and would like to activate a Golden Lure Module can do so by selecting the desired module while inside the ‘lure’ option of a PokeStop.
Like any other standard or special Lure Module, you can spin the Photo Disc every five minutes and the full effect of the Lure will last for 30 minutes, so be smart about when to activate it.
Golden Lure Modules uses
A Golden Lure Module is a special type of Lure Module that can be attached to a normal PokeStop to turn it into a Gold PokeStop.
The main use of the Golden Lure Module is to attract Roaming Form Gimmighoul to the PokeStop so it can be caught. Additionally, every time you spin the Golden PokeStop you’ll get extra items and the chance of receiving between five to 25 Gimmighoul Coins per Photo Disc spin.
Remember that the Gimmighoul Coins are required to evolve Roaming Form Gimmighoul into Gholdengo.
