The Pokemon Company International is launching PokePark Kanto, an amusement park in the Inagi area of Tokyo, Japan.
The park is based on the Kanto region from Pokemon Red and Blue but other than that the details are vague, with the Pokemon Company saying that it will offer real-life Pokemon experiences in an area where rich nature remains.
PokePark Kanto will be located in the Yomuriland Amusement Park in the Tama Hills, located in southwest Tokyo. Tokyo – for those who aren’t aware – is actually in the Kanto region, upon which the first Pokemon games were based.

PokePark Kanto will be the Pokemon Company’s second attempt at creating an amusement park after The Pokemon Wonder Amusement Park, which launched in 2021.

Far from a traditional theme park with rollercoaster rides, fans will amuse themselves by investigating Pokemon that are dotted around the verdant park that’s full of vegetation and bamboo grooves. The Pokemon are made from natural materials, including bamboo.
These are all the details that have been confirmed but fans will be hoping that the park features a timed research task similar to the one included in Pokemon Wonder. There, visitors had to find clues and discover Pokemon hiding amongst the vegetation.
These games are like real-life Pokemon Go as you walk around tracking Pokemon.
