The Pokemon Go Battle League Season 20: Max Out has plenty of new weekly scheduled leagues and cups, as well as some great rewards and themed Battle Days to enjoy.
While catching ’em all is the name of the game in Pokemon Go, trainers looking to test their might against others will want to head to the competitive Go Battle League, which is now getting through its 20th season, dubbed Max Out.
Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about Season 20 of the Pokemon Go Battle League, including the end date, all the rewards you can earn along the way, and the new weekly schedule of leagues and cups.
Pokemon Go Battle League Season 20 start & end dates
Season 20 of the Go Battle League kicked off on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −8) and will end on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Remember that – as usual – at the beginning of every season, you’ll be able to claim your end-of-season rewards from the battle screen, and your Go Battle League rank will be reset.
Pokemon Go Battle League Season 20 schedule
In addition to the traditional trio of Great, Ultra, and Master Leagues, there are many special cups this season, like the Halloween Cup.

Go Battle League Season 20 events schedule
There will be one special event taking place during Season 20 of the Go Battle League:

Go Battle Weekend: Max Out | Saturday, November 2, at 12:00 a.m. to Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. local time |
During the Go Battle Weekend: Max Out event, the maximum number of sets you can play per day will be raised from 5 to 20 for a total of 100 battles. You’ll also be able to claim 4× Stardust from win rewards, excluding end-of-set rewards.
During this Battle Weekend, free Timed Research will be available, and rewards will include a wig inspired by Allister. Additionally, GO Battle League Pokemon encounter rewards will display a wider variety of Attack, Defense, and HP.
