The headliner for Pokemon Go’s November 2024 Community Day is Mankey! Here’s everything you need to know about the day, including event times, exclusive moves, Shiny availability, and the list of all previous Community Day stars.
The Community Day is a monthly event in Pokemon Go that focuses on a specific Pokemon, with boosted wild spawns, increased Shiny chances, exclusive moves when evolved, and bonuses like extended Incense duration.
Community Days now last for three hours, and they always occur on the weekend so that most players can get involved. They’re some of the most popular events in the Pokemon Go Calendar, alongside Spotlight Hours.
Below, you’ll find plenty of information to help you make the most of the November 2024 Community Day event, which features Mankey as the main attraction.

Pokemon Go Community Day November date & time
The November 2024 Pokemon Go Community Day event will take place on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
Headliner
Mankey headlines for November Community Day!
Mankey will be the star of the show in this upcoming Community Day event, with Trainers having an increased chance of coming across it.
Boosted Shiny odds for Mankey
Mankey will have boosted Shiny odds for the duration of this event.
Mankey Community Day exclusive moves
If a player evolves a Mankey or Primeape during the Community Day – or up to 5 hours after – they’ll be able to get a Primeape or Annihilape with the Charged Attack Rage Fist.
This outstanding move has 50 power during Trainer Battles and 100 power during Gym Battles and Raids.
Pokemon Go Mankey Community Day event bonuses
The following event bonuses will be live during November’s Community Day:
- Limited-time Evolution requirement: you can evolve Primeape into Annihilape after catching only 20 Fighting-type Pokemon while having Primeape as your buddy. (The evolution requirement will go back to normal after 10:00 PM local time).
- 3× XP for catching Pokemon.
- 2× Candy for catching Pokemon.
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokemon.
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.*
- Trades will require 50% less Stardust.*
If an event bonus is marked with an asterisk, that means it will be available from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time instead of just during the 3-hour event window.
Mankey appearing during 4-Star Raids after the event
The fun doesn’t end when the Community Day finishes! After the three-hour event ends, trainers can access 4-Star Raid Battles with Mankey and Primeape until 10:00 PM local time.
Winning one of these Raids will mean that more Mankey with boosted Shiny odds will appear around the Gym for 30 minutes.
It’s worth noting that players looking to join the Primeape Raids will need to use Raid Passes and Premium Battle Pasases. Either Mankey or Primeape Raid Battles cannot be accessed with Remote Raid Passes, so you’ll need to get to them in person if you want to take part.

You may notice that every December headliner is missing from this list. That’s because, in December, Niantic featured every Pokemon from the past year as headliners at the same time.
Alongside all of these Community Days, there have been a few Community Day Classics that bring back old headliners. Most recently, Pokemon Go held a Community Day Classic featuring the elusive Pokemon Beldum.
