Mega Pokemon might be some of the most intimidating creatures in Pokemon Go, but it is still up to the Trainers to power them up and make them into damage-dealing machines.
One Trainer has shown off their mighty Mega but with a twist, as they claimed they just might have the “weakest Mega Pokemon” in existence.
In the post, the author showed off a Mega Aerodactyl with a measly 57 CP, kicking off a larger celebration of some weak Mega Pokemon in other collections.
Many of the comments underneath the post praise the original author and the very special Aerodactyl they posted. One person said, “That’s ‘mega’ weak,” then another added, “He’s trying his best.”
However, the rest of the thread devolved into a beauty pageant for unsung heroes, with Pokemon Go players showing off some of the most impressively puny examples of Mega Pokemon that are even considered possible in the game.

A comment shared, “I’ll see your 57cp and lower it,” alongside a picture of a Shiny Mega Sableye, and even the original author of the post expressed how impressed they were, replying, “Daaaaaamn, and Shiny as well?! Take my crown; you’ve beaten me in this one.”
Then a different comment shared their own rare find, showing a picture of a Shiny Mega Altaria with just 40 CP, alongside a comment saying, “Lmao I cannot believe I just wasted my 300 mega energy to do this but here’s this gem.”
While there might not seem like much of a reason to keep Pokemon so weak, one person explained why players might be holding on to these seemingly useless creatures, saying, “A lot of people collect Lv 1 Pokémon. Amongst them are people who collect and mega evolve Lv 1 Pokémon. Welcome to the club.”
