Shadow Suicune is back in Pokemon Go as a Shadow Raid Boss. For trainers curious about what the best moveset for all content will be, this guide has the answers for you.
The Max Out season brought back Shadow Raikou in September and then Shadow Entei in October as Shadow Raid bosses. So now that it’s entering its final stage, it’s only natural that the final Legendary to take on the dark battles is Suicune.
The Water-type Legendary Beast is taking over the weekends in November, so for those who manage to catch one, here are the best movesets you can teach Shadow Suicune for PvP and Raids.
Best moveset for PvP
Shadow Suicune’s PvP moveset is fairly flexible, but we recommend using Snarl for the Fast Move and Bubble Beam and Hydro Pump as the Charged Moves.
Trainers should stick with Snarl for Shadow Suicune’s Fast Move as it has very good Energy yields out of the available Fast Moves.
That being said, Ice Fang and Extrasensory provide benefits as well. Both Ice Fang and Extrasensory provide great type coverage, though their synergy with the Charged Moves will be skewed.
For the first Chared Move, you will want to opt for Bubble Beam thanks to its synergy with Snarl, as it can be used fairly often and provides a guaranteed Attack debuff. Bubble Beam also takes advantage of STAB.
The second Charged Move option can be fairly flexible, though Hydro Pump is the smart way to go. It also provides great synergy with Snarl and can lead to some nice OHKOs.

Best moveset for Raids
Shadow Suicune’s PvE moveset is slightly less flexible, so the same combo of Snarl for the Fast Move and Hydro Pump as the Charged Move is the best choice.
Snarl is the best Fast Move of the bunch, as it has a great energy gain and deals good damage for a decent amount of energy. You can always swap it for Extrasensory for a different coverage type.
The Charged Move should be Hydro Pump, as the other options are simply worse. Hydro Pump’s overall damage is great in PvE content.
All moves Shadow Suicune can learn in Pokemon Go
Like all Shadow Pokemon, Shadow Suicune will know the Charged Move Frustration in the game. However, certain Team GO Rocket events allow players to change the Charged Move of Shadow Pokemon with a Charged TM.
