One talented Pokemon artist has taken to social media lately to share their “genius” take on a fan-favorite ‘mon.
Pokemon variants are a lot of fun to look at as a fan and since the introduction of regional variants to the game, community artists have been consistently putting out exceptional artwork showing their own spins on the concept.
One talented Pokemon fan took to r/pokemon recently to share their take on a regional Tinkaton line – and other Pokemon fans were obsessed with the unique take.
Pokemon players adore “cute and cool” Tinkaton artwork
Artist SayuriKoopa posted their work on Reddit, sharing a new regional form for Tinkatink, Tinkatuff, and Tinkaton. The new regional line shown in this post is a Fairy and Fighting combo, and it pulls elements from other popular Fighting Pokemon.
On the final slide of the post, it shows exactly which Fighting ‘mons have been fused into this piece of art. The inspirations include Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Tyrogue, and Machoke.
The other Pokemon fans in the thread were immediately obsessed, with one person commenting that, “this is actually really cool” and another excitedly declaring that, “I love them so much”.

Some fans in the comments noticed the visual references to the video game ARMS, with one Pokemon player reminiscing on the title and saying, “I really liked ARMS. I wish it had gotten more popular.”
The subtle design choices in SayuriKoopa’s work got a lot of compliments in this post, with one person praising the artist for the smart use of an ice pack as hair for Tinkatink and another pointing out the strategic use of blush stickers to represent bruises.
The inclusion of other Pokemon elements wasn’t a hit with everyone, though, with one person pointing out, “You just reminded me that Hitmonlee’s legs are springs. Thanks I hate you.”
Overall, though, the post went down immensely well with other Pokemon players, with one person jokingly captioning the post “Tink you can get away? Tinkagain”. The Pokemon community is incredibly talented and it’ll be exciting to see if we get new designs in Pokemon Legends Z-A when that drops.
