Pokemon Sword and Shield shiny models leaked

Just days before the big release of Pokemon Sword and Shield, shiny models for an array of Pokemon have been leaked.

From Pokemon Go to Sun/Moon and even Let’s Go, shiny variants are a big deal. Trainers will spend hours trying to find them just because of how rare they are.

Even though they provide no actual in-game benefit, some trainers just can’t get enough of the thrill of finally encountering one. It’s no wonder soon-to-be Pokemon Sword and Shield players are already desperate to know what the various shiny forms within the game look like.

Starter shinies

It has already been confirmed that the starter and legendary Pokemon will be shiny locked. This means it won’t be possible to reset the game over and over until you finally start with a shiny.

However, don’t worry, shiny variants of Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble are in the game.

Their respective evolved forms, which were revealed as part of the big Pokemon Sword and Shield Pokedex leak, have also had their shiny forms unveiled.

Naturally, Thwackey, Raboot and Drizzile all have similar colors to their pre-evolved shiny counterparts. The same can be said for all their final evolved forms — Rillaboom, Cinderace and Inteleon —whose shinies can be seen below.

Legendary shiny

Elsewhere, we have more than one shiny form to look forward for each of two wolf legends. Another leak revealed that both Zacian and Zamazenta will have two forms, and each of them will have a shiny variant.

The name Eternatus was first uttered in what has become known as the ‘Affleck leak’ all the way back in May. Subsequent details have all but confirmed the number 400 entry into the Galar Pokedex. Its shiny form is as follows:

Galarian shinies

Much like the Alolan forms of Gen 7, Pokemon Sword and Shield introduce Galarian forms — regional variants specific to Galar. Yamask is one of the Galarian forms which evolves into a new Pokemon — Runegrigus — instead of Cofagrigus.

Alongside Galarian Yamask, an apparent Mr. Mime Galarian form was revealed also. These were shown for the first time, in an official capacity, in a Japanese Pokemon Sword and Shield trailer.

Thanks to a series of leaks however, we know there is indeed a new Mr. Mime and its evolved form is called Mr. Rime.

Perhaps the most popular Galarian form of all though, is Ponyta. The pony Pokemon was first revealed in the special 24 hour Pokemon Sword and Shield livestream but since then Galarian Rapidash has also been revealed. Their shiny forms can be seen below:

There are plenty of other shiny forms too, and a lot of them can be found on “LeakPKMN” Twitter page. While the hugely anticipated release of Pokemon Sword and Shield is just around the corner on November 15, it will take trainers a while to find all the shinies they want — especially if they are as rare as previous games.
