Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trainers can get Salazzle and Salandit in the wild, or use its extraordinary evolution method. Here’s where to find them and how Salandit evolves.
Salazzle and Salandit were added in Gen 7, as poison/fire-type Pokemon, and they’re back in Game Freak‘s latest games.
The elusive evolved form in this set is not the easiest to come by, as it is a very rare overworld spawn and has a very irritating evolution trick. Players from Sun & Moon, as well as Sword & Shield, will remember.
So, let’s take a look at how you can get Salazzle and Salandit in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

How to evolve Salandit into Salazzle
To evolve your Salandit into Salazzle, you’re going to need to do two things:
- Catch a female Salazzle in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
- Level up the female Salazzle to level 33.
The vast majority of wild Salandits are usually male, which makes it particularly challenging to cross this one off your Pokedex through evolution.
That said, they both spawn on the Paldea region map.
